April Showers

  April had many hurdles to overcome, mainly with the floor.   With the increased amount of water seeping in from the River Test, filling the holes in the Chapel, even the digger struggled not to sink through the floor. All that soil has to go somewhere..   We are thankful April came with a new roof !…

Waiting for the concrete

The River Test flows through Whitchurch, and apparently our floors in the Chapel… Today we are removing the water from the holes and then filling them with concrete to ensure the water is locked out. Only problem is, the concrete hasn’t arrived yet, could be an issue if the water starts to creep back in.. Hurry…

Roof Roof

The main Chapel roof is on, and in only one day! How you ask? By using Nulok roofing system! Firstly Nulok battens are fixed to the rafters in the conventional way, replacing traditional timber battens. Then specially designed Link Channels are snap fitted to the battens to form an interlocking grid system. And finally our slates are slotted…
