A level playing field

It has been a very busy month at the chapel and the pace is continuing to quicken as we approach the end of the year. Last week saw the screed go down on the upper and lower floors which was an unusually rapid process. The screed mix that we opted for was MPA Liquid Screed…

Another Refurbishment..

The Chapel build isn’t the only thing getting a new look.. As a Product Design Consultancy, design is everything. From the way we want you to feel when you step into our office, to the motivation and inspiration our website should fill you with when you click on our logo. Which is why we have launched a BRAND NEW…

Bubblegum flavoured concrete anyone?

Now-a-days, construction companies are using scented form release agents to impart a pleasant smell in concrete, the most famous being bubble gum. We didn’t opt for this however. But now that the first floor is in place, it’s time to concrete it. Downstairs we have a beam and block combination and in order to duplicate…

Now you see it – Now you don’t

The Chapel may continue to look the same on the outside to most people, but there is a lot going on inside that you don’t see! Here’s an even closer look . Now you see it – Now you don’t.

Rooms for Improvement

With the steel beams being placed downstairs, you can really see the shape of the rooms come to life and start to imagine each one fully equipped and ready for business. But if you still can’t quite see it yet, take a look at the pictures below for some inspiration. And in each steel beamed room… With…

Meet Phil

Meet Phil, the Man the Myth the Legend! Phil prefers to stay behind the scenes but we thought it was important to introduce everyone to our extremely talented Site Manager for the Chapel Build. He always has a smile on his face. And isn’t afraid of a little hard work. Austen and Phil have been working…

Porch Life

Everyone loves a before and after picture and although the porch isn’t finished just yet, we thought we would share a quick update with you. Before :   The dark black pointed frame gave the chapel a much older look and feel than we wanted, so we gave it a small lift.   The board going…

Side Profile

A picture can be quite deceiving, the expression ‘Don’t judge a book by its Cover’ really fits here. To the naked eye, the side extension of the Chapel looks rather small, its only when you it see from a different angle, and notice that a 6ft man in the door actually looks small in comparison, that…

Cobwebbed Chapel

One of the local residences of Whitchurch, Noel Privett, sent in this absolutely beautiful picture he captured one dewy morning. We absolutely love it! In fact we aren’t the only ones as it was featured in the Silk Mill Calendar for the month of July!   Isn’t it wonderful! If you have captured any pictures of the…

Remote controlled Crane

Ever seen a remote controlled Crane before?     The trick was to find a small enough crane to be able to manoeuvre the beam but also be strong enough to carry it up, with the beam weighing in at nearly 300 Kilos we had to make sure we got it right!

It’s Here!

The chapel sign has finally arrived! So if you couldn’t find us in Whitchurch before you shouldn’t have any problems now! A rather sizeable 8.5ft tall! Make sure you keep an eye out for us!

MAYbe the busiest month so far

With every month that passes, we get busier and busier. May has seen so many different developments, let’s recap a few! Every aspect of the Chapel build gets our full attention, from the garage doors to the colour of the guttering. Water holes were emptied and filled with concrete before the beams and concrete blocks…
